Mr. Charlie Chan: A prosseional detective and the father of ten children.

 

Henry Chan: The oldest of Chan's ten children. He often goes with Stanley in the Chan Van when they split up even though they are almost opposites and he often can't stand Stanley's childishness

 

Stanley Chan: The second oldest chan child who often teams up with Henry. Stanley often puts on a ridiculous costume to try and blend in and then is told to take it off by Henry. He also likes reciting the phrase "Wham-Bam we're in a jam"

 

Suzie Chan: A typical teenage girl who doesn't really contribute much to the mystery solving or the plot in general. She often goes with Anne, Tom, and Alan when they split up.

 

Alan Chan: The engineer of the group who can create inventions that are useful to them. He often has to translate Tom's words to the others in their group.

 

Anne Chan: An athletic tomboy who talks about gender equality a lot.

 

Tom Chan: A brainiac who is often the problem solver in the group. He often comes up with a simple solution that he says in the most complex way so that no one can understand him except for Alan.

 

Flip Chan: A hard-core detective who seems to act like the detectives in movies. He often goes with and leads the younger kids (Nancy, Mimi, and Scooter) when they split up. Flip is Scooter's role model when it comes to crime solving.

 

Nancy Chan: An obese girl who often doesn't contribute to the mystery solving. She often thinks about food and is very clumsy.

 

Mimi Chan: The second youngest kid who usually just follows around the older kids. She seems show a lot of pride in not being the youngest becuse she often tells Scooter that he can't do something because he's not old enough even though he's only a year younger.

 

Scooter Chan:The youngest of the chans who looks up to Flip as a detective.

 

Chu Chu: the Chan children's pet dog that assists in solving cases. The younger kids often take Chu Chu along with them.
